Στον "Θρίαμβο των Θεών της Θάλασσας" οι ιστορίες του Ομήρου δεν περιγράφουν περιπέτειες στη Μεσόγειο αλλά εξιστορούν έναν πόλεμο μεταξύ των Ατλαντικών πόλεων-κρατών που μάχονταν για την ισχύ και το εμπόριο σε μια εποχή που οι βασίλισσες έχασαν την εξουσία από τους βασιλείς και οι θεές υπερκεράστηκαν από τους θεούς....

Τον καιρό που η Γη ήταν ακόμη καινούρια, τις δουλειές τις πολύ δύσκολες, τις ακατόρθωτες, τις έκαναν οι ήρωες....
